Right round, round round

Pete Burns was frontman of The Mystery Girls who managed to play their first and final gig on the same night. The band also included Pete Wylie, Julian Cope, and Phil Hurst. They played a Superb gig supporting Sham 69 in November 1977. The group folded immediately after, with the members going their separate ways. Burns and Wylie form “Nightmare in wax” and released a 12" single, "Black Leather," Halfway through the song it breaks into KC and the Sunshine bands “That’s the way, I like it” Subsequently they score their first hit with a cover of the same song but that was after the band evolved into “Dead or Alive” They later achieved stardom with the hit “You spin me round (like a record)” the song was the first number 1 hit for the production team Stock Aitken and Waterman. and twenty years later it still is a dance-floor favourite. The song was released once again last month after Pete Burns his Big Brother appearance, it re-entered the UK charts at #5. Since last week Pete is being treated in a mental hospital for depression. His manager has confirmed that he’s suffering from exhaustion and sleep deprivation

Mystery Girls - Ash in Drag (extended version)
Dead or Alive – You spin me round (murder mix)
Dead or Alive – Pop Life (one of my favorites from the Prince tribute)
Dead or Alive - That's the way I like it
Nightmares in Wax - Black Leather (this is just brilliant shit disco)

I saw a sensational "Punk" stripper at some party 10 years ago or more strip to Nightmares in Wax Black Leather, and I've been tryin' to locate this song somewhere to hear it again. Thanks for the post. Great song. I'd love to get it and hear it again.
